On the lighter side: The Saga of the Toilet Seat

Talk about inequities—what’s with the female’s insistence that men raise and lower the toilet seat?  There’s the whole issue in a nutshell.  If a guy goes in to use the toilet and has to raise the seat, why should he have to put it back down again?  I mean, after all, women keep insisting on equality, no?  To raise and lower the seat every time a guy needs to go is two actions.  If he performs those like some trained monkey, the gal doesn’t have to do anything but sit when she comes in to use the facility.  On the other hand, if the guy raises the seat and the gal lowers the seat, isn’t that equality?  One action for both parties—separate but equal!
